Advair Diskus: How to use it

How to use Advair Diskus (Salmeterol – Fluticasone):

Shake the inhaler well before use.

The recommended dose for the Advair inhaler is twice daily inhalations. The first dose should be taken in the morning before you eat or drink while you are sitting or standing up. You must wait at least 2 – 5 minutes before lying down. It is also important to rinse your mouth with water or brush your teeth after using Advair. It is not going to help for sudden onset of symptoms as it is not a fast-acting inhaler. It’s also not something you should abruptly stop taking as it can cause withdrawal symptoms.
